YogaWorks helped bring yoga to the Western world .
Yogaworks was one of the first studios of its kind, built over three decades into a trusted name and a respected teaching method. But a run of ownership changes, over-expansion, and a pandemic pivot to on-demand video left the brand fragmented: a generic lotus mark, mismatched websites, three conflicting brand books, and stagnant studio photography left the brand diluted and studios empty. While the equity was real, the brand no longer stood for anything.
A clear idea to power a bold mission.
Instead of adding more, we subtracted – anchoring the brand to a single, ownable position: mat-based fitness, whenever you want, wherever you are. Everything a body can do on a mat – yoga, pilates, strength, mobility, recovery, positioned as one modern practice. Not louder or more extreme, but steadier and more grounded. The identity follows suit: a restrained palette, atmospheric gradients that echo the times of day, and a mark that is calm in impression yet active in rotation.
Fitness used to feel simpler...before it became louder, faster, more extreme. Yogaworks was built on a steadier idea: a practice you return to, designed to support how you live.
A new system for every consumer touchpoint.
The flagship is a conversion-first web experience with one job: turn visitors into subscribers, the engine that funds the return of studios. From there the system extends into a toolkit a lean team can run: a reconfigured app, social templates, email designs, and member communications, instructor guides...all speaking one visual and verbal language, measured and free of hype. The result is a brand system that is easy to adopt for internal teams and speaks consistently across touchpoints.
I’ve worked with a lot of talented creative people throughout my career. The rare ones become a prism for your ideas. That’s what Pact did for Yogaworks. I came into the process with strong opinions about the brand, its history, and where I thought we could take it. They synthesized the information, challenged my assumptions and sharpened others. That’s the symbol of a true creative partnership. Josh Entman, CEO, Yogaworks
Working with Yogaworks, we translated thirty years of equity into one coherent brand – across logo, positioning, voice, and digital experience. The power of a brand system isn't in any single asset; it's in making the proposition unmistakable.
